I am an academic interested in marketing, consumers and consumption; understanding how and why people buy things. Consumption is a huge part of how people find and express themselves individually and colelctively. The ways people consume tell us a lot about what it means to be human. 

On this site I share ideas from my various on-going research projects as well as links to my work. I hope this can be a space to start conversations.

The 20th Century French philosophers had Parisian cafes. We have wifi. So balance a coffee in one hand, cracked phone screen in the other, and lets talk about the meaning of life and how this manifests in buying tat.
